About Us
Saham International FZ-LLC was founded in 2016, in U.A.E. It is a one-stop shop for procurement including base oils, lubricants, additives etc., company/brand establishment and setup, consultancy services, product development and logistical solutions.
The team at Saham International, have over forty years of experience in lubricants and related fields which includes extensive experience and partnerships in the Middle East, North Africa, CIS, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc.
CEO (Chief Executive Officer)
Asif Rashid is the founder and CEO of Saham International FZ-LLC (UAE) and Saham International PVT LTD (Pakistan).
He started his career, in Oman, in 1980 and has over the years worked for multiple notable brands including Esso Lubricants, Gulf Oil and Fuchs. The most significant time and success was with Fuchs Oil Middle East, where he spent most of his career and established Fuchs in the Middle East and African markets with 20 distributors and 5 blending plants. He retired as Chief Operating Officer, of Fuchs Oil Middle East, in 2014.
He leveraged his extensive experience and contacts to setup Saham International and has found continued success. The most notable achievement being the establishment of Duckhams Oil Middle East which included complete setup of the company, re-launch of the brand, product/packaging development, vendor selection and first distributor agreements.
